Established around 1995, and under the ownership of our client since 2003, the previously trading Rough ‘n’ Tumble occupies a prominent position on the first floor above a social club and next door to a popular art house theatre in Elland town centre in West Yorkshire. A well equipped children’s soft play centre during the day, the multi-functional business premises served as an exclusive party venue in the evenings and weekends and as such, it developed a strong reputation and a large, loyal customer base.
The now empty premises attracted a considerable amount of interest due to their lending themselves ideally to a number of different business ventures, particularly given their excellent location, selling to a private buyer on 1st November 2013.
Leanne Boulding on the deal negotiation team for Knightsbridge Business Sales advised that the buyer intends to reopen the premises as a play/activity centre and the vendor will remain involved in the business, intending to become landlord of the ingoing tenant.
