Wilsons of Haworth was established in 2013 and has since built an excellent reputation through a focus on delivering excellent customer service and guest satisfaction. As a result, the guest house received regular and repeat bookings, including advance bookings well into 2017.

Our client pursued a sale due to retirement, with Knightsbridge Business Sale selling the business within 8 months of it coming to the market. Private buyers, Brendan Sutherland and Josie Prince, purchased the business and property for £475,000. The new owners intend to relocate from London, replace the vendors role and implement their experience of working within the hospitality sector.

Knightsbridge completes deal for popular Guest House in Torquay

Knightsbridge Business Sales negotiated the £425,000 deal of Crown Lodge to private buyers Mr & Mrs Bull in August 2014.

Based in Torquay, Devon, this guest house is in the enviable position of being located on one of Torquay’s most sought after and popular roads, because of its level walk and close proximity to the Seafront and Town Centre.

The business attracts a lot of repeat custom from the tourist trade coming back year in year out, and new guests who have read the excellent reviews posted on Trip Advisor, along with a certificate of excellence for the last 3 years and their own website.

Hollies Guest House based Tamworth, West Midlands, owned by our clients since 2005 has recently been refurbished to a high standard and boasts a regular client base.  The property provides 8 comfortable letting bedrooms which all offer free-view televisions and en-suite facilities. These comprise of 4 single bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 triple bedroom. 

The vendors requested a “For Sale” board, which attracted good levels of interest. The buyer, Ms K Barker, dealt directly with our client, in smooth transaction, which completed in August 2012 to a value of £285,000. The Mason Arms in Gargrave, Skipton has sold to new owners off an asking price of £119,950.
Operating as a public house and restaurant, the business benefits from six letting rooms, all with en-suite facilities and a bowling green with pavilion to the rear of the property. Additionally there is a beer garden and allotments that are currently rented.

The business was sold leasehold by Knightsbridge.
