IT Solutions Provider Successfully Sold After 9 Months

We are delighted to announce the sale of PCC Limited, A Dundee-based IT solutions provider after less than 9 months of coming to the market.

Established in 1992, by Husband and Wife team, John and Christina Phillips, the company works with clients throughout Scotland across a wide array of sectors including retail, local authorities, legal and construction.

The buyer, Cloudstream Technology Ltd, is a Fife-based IT consultant offering a range of technology and connectivity solutions throughout the UK.

After generating plenty of interest, PCC Limited presented an excellent fit and complemented those businesses already established within the Cloudstream Technology group.

Located in Hove, East Sussex, this IT Support Services Company has been established since 2006 and has seen significant growth year on year with excellent profit margins. The business offers IT support to a number of clients including Corporate, Media Companies, Recruitment Companies, Call Centres and Solicitors as well as a small client base. There are a number of contracts in place generating an ongoing revenue stream with contracts being between 1 and 3 years. The business also offers Phone Systems which they have only recently started marketing and have already seen a lot of interest from existing and new clients.

The business presented an ideal bolt-on opportunity as it was sold as a re-locatable business. Our clients offered their company to the market in order to pursue other business interests and a deal was completed less than 5 months after entering the market.

The acquirer, Weald Computer Maintenance Ltd was found by our team of researchers at Knightsbridge and purchased the company as a bolt-on business. Gemma Moss of Knightsbridge was delighted at the quick and very straightforward sale.

IT Support Services Business Sold

Knightsbridge have successfully sold Taribo Ltd based in Hertfordshire for £120,000. 

The business was established in 2003 and has developed an enviable reputation which has boosted the company’s growth during this time. The company provides a complete IT department for businesses, from desktop support to server administration, IT strategy and management.

In addition to providing IT services to the SMB market, the company provides services to other companies IT departments looking to enhance their own services or to backfill their staffing needs. 

Network Integrity Services (NIS) based in Manchester, purchased the company and will merge the operations of both businesses. The new owners intend to maintain operations in both Manchester and Hertforshire, creating new jobs in the process. 

The business received high levels of interest, including two offers since coming to market. We wish both parties every success in the future.
