Established in 2003, and under the ownership of our clients since 2011, this leading coffee shop and café overlooks the busy market place in Devizes, a historic Wiltshire town which attracts a high number of visitors all year round. 

Samantha Wright, a sales negotiator for Knightsbridge with expertise in this sector, advised that the 75 cover, superbly equipped and well presented premises attracted plenty of interest and viewings from the onset, with the first viewing within only a few weeks of coming to market. Heads & Tails Sandwich Bar and Coffee Shop is based in Chester City Centre and offers 25 covers, with weekly takings of £3,000. Established in 2004, and owned by our clients since 2006, they were looking for an exit towards retirement. 

Manager Gemma Moss on the Knightsbridge negotiation team was able to generate a good amount of interest and 2 offers on the business, outlining that there is always high demand for this type of business and location, but it can prove more difficult with the higher rent payments that usually accompany them. 

Keen to take advantage of the well presented premises and high quality of fittings, with plenty of scope to develop and expand the business in the future, Mr Jones acquired the business in October 2012 for £30,000. Gemma would like to wish our clients best wishes in their retirement.

Birmingham City Centre Coffee Shop Sold

Coffee Costes, a well presented city centre coffee shop in Birmingham, has been sold by Knightsbridge for £100,000 to private buyer Steve Knight. 

Mr Knight was attracted to the business, established in 2009, due to its prominent location. Experienced negotiator Samantha Wright achieved plenty of interest in the business, completing on the deal in August 2012 in what she highlights was a quick and easy transaction. 

Mr Knight will work in the business, keeping existing staff in place, so that the vendors are able to exit the business to pursue other business interests. Knightsbridge wish both parties good luck for the future.

Oasis Sandwich and Coffee Bar in Batley Sold

Knightsbridge has completed on the sale of Oasis Sandwich and Coffee Bar in Batley, West Yorkshire, to new owner Pearl Wood. 

Pearl intends to work in the business full time, which commands a prominent main road location and strong customer base. Senior negotiator Leanne Boulding secured 3 viewings and 2 offers on this business prior to the sale in August 2012, and would like to wish both parties all the best for the future.

Café Clare Sold by Knightsbridge

Knightsbridge has successfully sold Café Clare in Warrington to Mr. Anthony West; Anthony plans to refurbish the premises and continue with the running of the business.

Café Clare benefits from an excellent business park location, no local competition and regular, local custom. Café Claire offers a traditional menu including breakfasts, full meals and sandwiches; our clients have also developed outside catering services to compliment the dine in and takeaway trade.
