The business was sold to trade buyer, Stephen Smith of Complete Care Services, for £85,000. The business was purchased as a bolt-on to the existing company and the new owner will be retaining the original staff.

Domiciliary Care Agency acquired after just 7 months on the market
The business was established in 2003 by our client and a business
partner, following long careers in the home care industry. With just a
single client at its inception, the company steadily grew and plateau
3-4 years later. At this point, our client bought out her business
partner, and the company began to grow again; but at a far faster rate
than before, increasing client numbers, turnover and profitability in
the years that followed. Now serving a client base of 83, the company prides itself in the quality of care that it offers; and is particularly adept at handling more complex cases involving alcohol and/or drug dependency; with clients from both self funded sources and local social services.
The business operates from a small office in a shared building in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. From this base, the company serves clients in Scarborough, and the surrounding villages.
The acquirer was Clarity Care Solutions Ltd, a provider of numerous different types of care services which have been designed to help clients remain independent and to continue living in their own home.
Second 2 None will be developed further as a bolt on business.
Gemma Moss, operations Director at Knightsbridge Business Sales who advised on the deal, said: “The opportunity generated a large amount of interest, with the eventual acquirer being a previous buyer with Knightsbridge.”
