Care Companions Limited Sold to Pure Homecare

Knightsbridge Business Sales have successfully completed the sale of Care Companions Limited for £175,000.

The domiciliary care agency was established in 2009 and has operated with a truly caring ethos that is clearly reflected through its service offering, management and staff. The business provides the highest quality care that is tailored to the needs of each individual client. Through word of mouth referrals and some elements of local and online advertisements, new clients are being attracted all the time. Aside from the excellent reputation the business has built up within the local area, it has won Great British Care Awards every year from 2010 up to 2014 and has also been a National Finalist of the Dementia Care Awards in 2014 and 2015.

The business is based in Sutton Coldfield, a popular and affluent residential suburb of Birmingham. The central position is a fantastic location for the business where the wider coverage area means all the businesses service users are within easy commutable distance.

Our client pursued the sale of their business due to personal circumstances. The business was purchased by Pure Homecare, an award-winning Leicester based home care agency providing respite and domiciliary care.

The business was established in 2003 by our client and a business partner, following long careers in the home care industry. With just a single client at its inception, the company steadily grew and plateau 3-4 years later.  At this point, our client bought out her business partner, and the company began to grow again; but at a far faster rate than before, increasing client numbers, turnover and profitability in the years that followed.

Now serving a client base of 83, the company prides itself in the quality of care that it offers; and is particularly adept at handling more complex cases involving alcohol and/or drug dependency; with clients from both self funded sources and local social services.

The business operates from a small office in a shared building in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. From this base, the company serves clients in Scarborough, and the surrounding villages.

The acquirer was Clarity Care Solutions Ltd, a provider of numerous different types of care services which have been designed to help clients remain independent and to continue living in their own home.

Second 2 None will be developed further as a bolt on business.
